The process needed to become a member of the Lil Paw family is simple, please let me explain.  When you first contact me either through referral, or advertising I will ask you to start by visiting my website and filling out my application and emailing it back to me.  From there I will review your application and email you back with the opportunity to have a phone call and we can talk through Messenger also.  But in every situation I do like to have a phone call.  I need to be sure that a chihuahua puppy is the right choice for your family so a few questions will be asked.  I don't like to be intrusive but I do need to feel absolutely sure I am making the right decision for each of my new puppies.  I want you to also feel comfortable with me as your breeder and the person that will stand by your puppy and help you with the beginning process of raising your new puppy if you need me.  Once we all feel ready to commit to your choice in puppies I will ask for a deposit when the puppies are old enough (usually around 3-4weeks of age).  Prices on pups are determined in a few ways, so there is no set price but will place pricing on each pup once it is ready to be offered to the public.  No puppy is held on a word there must be a cash deposit place for me to hold your choice.  Now that you have place your deposit that when the fun begins.  I love to keep my families well informed as to what is happening in their puppies life.  I try to do a couple of posting on facebook a week of their changes with picture and in some cases videos.  I want each family to be as involved as they possibly can be.  One thing I am very strict on is visiting your new pup before vaccination.  This will never happen, puppies are to susceptible to disease before vaccination and by my allowing anyone the visit not only puts your puppy in jeopardy it places everyone else pups in the same situation an I am not willing to take that risk.  If that is important to you before placing a deposit I do understand but I will Not change my mind on this matter ever.    My pups are vaccinated approx. 8-10 weeks of age depending on how each pup is doing ( if there is a very small runt all pups wait till that pup is ready) which means a delay in vaccination for everyone.  Then that date of vaccination determines when I can release your puppy, as  I do not let any pup go for at least  a week after vaccination.  Once they have successfully weaned are eating and drinking on their own, had their 1st vaccination the next step would be setting up appointments for pickup.  Since this is the first time meeting my new families I want you to come to my home for pick up. I love to meet my new families in person.  For anyone that lives to far for pick up we can talk about ground transporters to take your pup to you. I do not ship my pup on airlines.
